Green Smoothie!

                            Doesn’t that look delicious?!?!?!

Oh. Well it sure does to me! I drink  a green smoothie every morning for breakfast. I add one secret ingredient that makes this taste like a vanilla milkshake instead of dirt spinach. 😉
These green smoothies give me energy like no other breakfast, and to be honest, I don’t really feel good if I haven’t had one. I feel sluggish and half-asleep without these. Also, they’re portable! Who doesn’t like convenience food? Pack one instead of going to Mickey D’s for lunch if you really want. Also, they have two servings of leafy greens, and three of fruit! I’m not sure if my math is wrong, but that adds up to your five a day. 🙂

Green Smoothie Recipe

Makes about 32 oz

2 cups of water
1 medium apple, cored 
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder (aka secret ingredient)
1/2 of a pitted and peeled mango 
1 frozen banana 
1 cup of fresh baby spinach.

Place all ingredients in a blender and liquefy until smooth and one shade of green.
