Bold Chex mix, without a doubt, the best kind of chex mix. Cheddar lovers, don’t hate. The salty Worcestershire and the spice of the garlic makes the bold flavor really unique. And I mean, really, who doesn’t like Chex Mix?!?!?! It’s always the first thing to go at any snack bar at any party I’ve been too. I went to a pool party and nobody even touched the chips. The three family-size bags of Chex Mix were gone like that.
Well, what did they expect? 🙂
Oh yeah, if you would like, you could add 1/2 a cup each of peanuts or cashews if you would like. I don’t like nuts that much. I know, I’m crazy.
BOLD CHEX MIX
- 6 cups rice, corn, or wheat chex, or a mixture of all three
- 1 1/2 cups mini pretzel twists
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Preheat your oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment or tinfoil.
Mix your chex and pretzels together in a large bowl.
Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Toss with the chex and pretzels, and spread in an even layer on the baking sheet. Bake in the oven for one hour and fifteen minutes, stirring every fifteen minutes. Once done, serve after cooling for about ten minutes.
