Perfect Scrambled Eggs with Chicken Sausage


Okay, what is more essential than eggs?


Well, maybe water.


Anyway, eggs are one of the most basic things to cook.

But it’s all in technique.

Yup. That’s pretty much all I wanted to talk about.

Perfect Scrambled Eggs with Chicken Sausage

Serves One


1 whole egg

1/4 cup pasteurized egg whites or egg substitute

2 tbsp milk

salt and pepper

1 tsp olive oil

1 pre-cooked link of chicken sausage, whatever flavor you prefer



In a small bowl, add your egg, egg whites or egg substitute, milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk together with a fork until well combined.

Set aside.

Heat the oil in a non stick skillet.

Slice the sausage into thin rounds. Saute until slightly crispy, about 3 minutes.

Add the eggs, and scramble them up until cooked to your liking.

Serve on a plate with some toast and maybe some strawberries.
